Japanese car manufacturers, Honda Motor Company, rumored to be making a smaller dimension variant of Crossover, Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and Honda CR-V. The plan, a cross between a car CR-V with Honda Civic hatchback went on sale in 2013.
one source at Honda’s management said that if the car was actually produced will be the smallest SUV ever they launch. “Crossover will be built with the concept of a new Honda Civic architecture,” he said
Unfortunately until now Honda has not provided any information about the crossover specification. The manufacturer was also not given a name for this latest production vehicles. But definitely this car is expected to be the strongest competitor of Nissan Qashqai in Europe.
Honda interested in launching a new SUV, because the success of the CR-V sales globally. Last year CR-V is marketed in 160 countries and have sales of 4.4 million units. This figure puts the CR-V as one of Honda’s best selling products, besides the Honda Civic, Accord, and Jazz.
Apart from the sales side, the quality of the CR-V Internationally recognized through several awards including Best Compact SUV in the United States in 2005, the Top Safety Pick in the United States in 2009 and Best Resale Value United States in 2009
